Ski areál Luž
Ski area Luž is located in picturesque part of Lužicke Mountains directly below the highest mountain Luž in Horní Světlá, part of Myslivna - Jägersdorf. Ski area Luž is small family company. Area is placed partly to forest and partly to meadows, and is situated approximately 0,5 km from state boundary (Germany - Waltersdorf) and 25 km from state boundary (Poland - Hrádek nad Nisou, Porajów). We operate two ski lifts and snowpark /450 m long/ in our ski area. We have three downhill sloupes, two 650 m long and one 550 m long. Both ski lifts are lighted so we can offer you night skiing too. 150 m from exit station is parking place for 70 cars, in lower station is the second parking place in distance 250 m. We have the best snow conditions in our area, the snow lasts approximately 80 days during the year /with no artificial snow/. Average snow high is 100 cm. One from the ski lifts is placed in large training field - excellent for the schools, skiers beginners and slightly advanced skiers, the second one is for advanced skiers, also for the first school groups /enough large downhill slope in the forest/.
Operation time: daily from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. + daily possibility of night skiing /on the basis of agreement with staff/.
In distance 300 m are located 7 pensions with restaurants (400 beds). Next to ski lift is fast food, ski and snowboard renting in distance to 10 km.
