Spartak Rokytnice nad Jizerou
Rokytnice nad Jizerou undoubtedly ranks among the most popular ski centres of the West Giant Mountains. The local association of ski tow and chairlift operators (i.e. Spartak Rokytnice, a.s., Skiservis Udatný, Pařez Ski Centre, Modrá Hvězda Ski Centre and Bahýnka Ski Centre) allows you to ski with one ski pass valid in these locations. In the neighbourhood of Rokytnice nad Jizerou, you can go cross-country skiing on 32.5 km of ski tracks. Spartak Rokytnice, a.s. is the greatest ski tow operator which owns Horní Domky and Studenov Ski Centres..
Horní Domky Ski Centre is located on the southern slopes of the Lysá Mountain and is popular, above all, thanks to the variability and the width of its downhill courses, which is up to 100 m in some places. Skiers and snowboarders can use all downhill courses of all difficulty levels at the total length of over 14 km, a snow park and a children's park with a moving carpet. The area is a home centre of Filip Trejbal, the junior world champion.
Studenov Ski Centre lies near the centre of Rokytnice nad Jizerou. It is suitable for beginners as well as for intermediate skiers.
Modrá hvězda Ski Centre and Bahýnka Ski Centre are situated near Horní náměstí (Upper Square). The ski centres are suitable mainly for families and skiers-beginners.
In all ski centres of Rokytnice or in immediate proximity of these centres, there are ski and snowboard rentals, ski services, ski schools, restaurants and fast foods.
A free Ski Bus goes along the whole Rokytnice nad Jizerou mainly in half-hour intervals. Another free Ski Bus goes between the central car parks and Horní Domky Ski Centre.
The central car parks P2-P4 in Rokytnice nad Jizerou are free, P1 car park is paid.
